There are musical projects where you have to read the headline twice to understand the actual meaning. For the first time in the now five-decade success story of the rock legend from Hagen in southern Westphalia, a purely acoustic studio album with song classics of the band is released. Simply titled "GROBSCHNITT ACOUSTIC ALBUM", it contains 13 tracks and will be available from May 13. The album is also a reminiscence of the band's 50th anniversary, which was celebrated in the fall of 2021 as part of an impressive Grobschnitt exhibition in the renowned Osthaus Museum in their hometown of Hagen. But it is also a tribute to the loyal fan base, which now spans three generations and whose motto "No day without Grobschnitt" has always been and remains a cult.
