Vierzehn Karat - Ihre Grössten Hits (CD)
Together with Pudhys, Silly and City, Karat were the spearhead of GDR pop rock. After Peter Maffay covered their song "Über sieben Brücken mußt du geh'n," the combo's career took off. Gladly packed pathetically and metaphorically, one could discover many a dazzling gem in the melodious music of the top-class formation. In a good twenty years, Karat created remarkable German rock classics such as "Schwanenkönig", "Der blaue Planet", "Albatros" and, of course, the evergreen "Über sieben Brücken mußt du geh'n".
