in 2012, 12 years after their formation, the Freising quintet RPWL dared to release their first concept album. "Beyond Man And Time" was a musical journey through the world outside Plato's cave - and the first chart entry of Germany's best artrock band. The band created themes for the individual characters on the concept album. Oriental percussions, extended Moog solos or Indian sitar provide well-placed atmospheric and colorful realization. So it is only natural that this musical journey culminates in a 16-minute work like "The Fisherman" to finally end with an extremely thoughtful, calm "The Noon". The song "Somewhere In Between", still kept short on the CD with 2.04 min, is now included for the first time in its original length of 9.22 min.
