I Spy, a Dutch band known for their unique style and inspired by progressive rock legends like Genesis, Yes, Pink Floyd, and Jethro Tull, will be releasing a new double album titled While The War Began later this month. The album has been a long time in the making, with the band working on it for the past 7 years. It reflects their original voice, influenced by the past but firmly rooted in the present. While The War Began consists of four sides: "Unforgotten" and "Fearless" on sides 1 and 2, which explore emotional and spiritual themes like birth, life, love, and death, and "War" and "Odyssey" on sides 3 and 4, which have a grand and worldly character inspired by the epic tales of Homer. The compositions are a fusion of narratives, creating a rhapsodic and experimental experience.
