In June 2021, Dream Theater launched a new album series, Lost Not Forgotten Archives. In conjunction with the Inside Out label, the progressive metal icons are reissuing a number of albums from the long-running YtseJam catalog. In addition, the collector's series will be supplemented by a few brand new releases. YtseJam Records, founded by Mike Portnoy at the time, was already the publisher of Dream Theater's official bootleg collection, which includes live shows, demos and studio outtakes from throughout the band's career. As part of "Lost Not Forgotten Archives", the entire collection is being reissued on CD as well as on vinyl for the first time with brand new artwork and packaging. After releasing "Images And Words - Live In Japan, 2017" in June, the first completely new release, the second release in the "Lost Not Forgotten Archives" is already coming in July "A Dramatic Tour Of Events - Select Board Mixes" is a carefully curated selection of a total of 13 tracks recorded during their "A Dramatic Tour Of Events".
