A Man And The Blues = LP, 50th Anniversary = (LP)
Buddy Guy's best album (not counting albums on which he just played guitar for somebody else, of course), if "Slippin' In" is not. Lovely, ringing guitar swabs these songs, Guy resisting the temptation to go overboard (he often didn't resist!). Still, there's enough energy to satisfy everybody. I wish he'd cut more albums like this one.
