Have been familiar with most of the pre-"Aftermath" material for quite some time thanks to various comps but figured I might as well give the actual albums a try. This seems to be the most popular of the bunch so it's the first one I reached for. And with major early cuts like "Satisfaction", "The Last Time" and "Play With Fire", its popularity is easy to understand. But the covers and "deep cuts" seem to be better as well, making this pretty consistent for a British Invasion album from this period. So while they're obviously still playing catch up to The Beatles, one can almost consider this as their "Rubber Soul" (since "Aftermath" is often considered their "Revolver").
