Death Remains (The Demos) (CD)
With a goofy name like Megaslaughter, these guys were opening themselves up to get both barrels from any critic, that is, if they sucked. But they cetainly do not. This band is Swedish, yet they don't have much of that heritage in their style, they have more in common with Obituary or even Master than anything remotley Entombed related. Very good record overall, and what a great album cover. Looks more like a crust punk release than a death metal one. The sound here is a bit crusty as well, so it all seemlessly fits. Recommended.
