The Hermits began life as a overly poppy hits group, and they certainly had their fair share of those: "Something Tells Me I'm Into Something Good", "Henry VIII, I Am" and "Mrs. Brown, You've Got A Lovely Daughter" being among their biggest. Sure, those songs are nothing too bad but they were overly poppy and more than a little cheesy. By 1967, the hits had begun to dry up a bit so like so many others, the group decided to cash in on the psychedelic trend that was going around. Now, this is not an album that is going to be trippy or druggy and it certainly won't "blow your mind". This takes the Hermit's usual sound and adds in mild psych influences along with sunshine/baroque pop touches as well.
