Electro Acoustic Requiem (CD)
Guitarist since 18 years, Martin Heon worked on this research project to explore the acoustic range of an electric guitar. On this album, he wanted to widen the audible spectrum with non-conventional elements to modify the sound as we usually hear it. He has put the wave source through all sorts of plug-ins, giving sometimes the impression that we are listening to another instrument like a drum or an organ. An intensive research of nearly one year has been needed to create these original sounds and extraordinary ambiances.
This year of technical research has brought to life an instrumental piece of 40 minutes divided in 12 parts inspired by the great mystery of life and death.
