Live At The BBC And Other Stories = 4 CD = (CD)
The Graham Bond Organization (GBO) was an English band that combined jazz and blues. Jack Bruce and Graham Bond formed the band in London in 1963. In addition to Bond (keyboards) and Bruce (bass), the first formation consisted of John McLaughlin (guitar) and Ginger Baker (drums). After John Mclaughlin left the band, Dick Heckstall-Smith (saxophone) joined the formation. Later, Jon Hiseman replaced Ginger Baker on drums when the latter formed Cream with Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce. The Graham Bond Organization can thus also be seen as a forerunner of bands like Cream or Colosseum. In 1966 Bond disbanded the group. In 1974 Graham Bond was run over by the underground in London and could only be identified by his fingerprints
