Beasts Of No Nation = LP = (LP)
The Nigerian musician Fela Kuti is considered the founder of the "Afrobeat". The label Knitting Factory now presents various works from the Backcatalogue as a vinyl edition. "Beasts Of No Nation" weighs 180g and comes with a download code. After some mediocre albums at the end of the 70's, "Beasts Of No Nation" marks the return to old strength. "Animals wan dash our human rights" is sung by Fela Kuti and refers to the politicians depicted on the cover. W. Botha, Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan are to be seen as horned vampires whose blood drips from their mouths. Produced by Wally Badarou, the combination of Afrobeat and political message is a powerful success.
