Bandstand = Papersleeve, Japanese, Gimmick = (CD)
This is the Family album and probably the most consistent and easy listening one so far. Chapman doesn't go "over the top" with is weird vibrato voice on this one. Sounds like early Tull mixed with early Gabriel-era Genesis and a touch of The Band. IMHO one of their best. This is the 2nd album John Wetton plays bass on, and departed to join King Crimson in early '73. This is one of those albums you can play from start to finish, and wish there was more. Good musicianship. Find one, play it, enjoy !
