THE ELECTRIC CRAYON SET is a psychedelic brainchild of the Finnish music maker, guitarist and singer TIMO PAAKKO. The record itself is actually a Finnish-American collaboration. KIM HITCHCOCK from Austin, Texas is responsible for many of the lyrics on the album, and the beautiful cover painting is the job of MAD JOHN NEMEC from New York. A DEMENTED concept album, a maelstrom of ACID-FOLK, PSYCH, PAISLEY-POP and PROG. Power guitar chords in the vein of THE CREATION and THE WHO, layered with Hammond B-3 and gorgeous melodies.
