PSYCHEDELIC FUNK-ROCK album, originally released in 1970. (In the US by Janus Records, in the UK by Dawn.) This British band's sole LP, 'Afreaka!', demonstrates an excellence in playing psychedelic soul, dub-heavy funk, progressive rock, Afro-jazz and black acid rock. There are vocal tracks as well as long instrumental parts with tough fuzz guitars, Hammond and much more. Essential for fans of bands s.a. Mandrill, Cymande, Funkadelic, Scorpion, Purple Image, etc. Demon Fuzz were a popular act in the British festival circuit of the early '70s, and this LP proves they really were sensational.
