Earthling = LP, Blue = (LP)
The artistic vision is pretty clear: embrace mid-'90s electronica and apply it to the classic Bowie sound in the same way he did with soul on Young Americans. "Law (Earthlings on Fire)" sounds like Ministry, "I'm Afraid of Americans" sounds so much like Nine Inch Nails that Trent Reznor even remixed it for one of Bowie's last hit singles, and "Seven Years in Tibet" sounds like The Prodigy as it bounces between sleek guitars, a smooth groove and explosions of butt-rock noise (if you are experiencing this, call your general practitioner).
