Dave Edmunds officially retired from the music industry in July 2017 after 50 years in the business Starting with his breakthrough days in the Sixties with Love Sculpture to his one-man attempt to return rock music to its original roots with his Christmas hit "I Hear You Knocking", which was number one in the UK singles chart in 1970, he then became a one-man Phil Spector "Wall Of Sound" via mid-seventies hits like "Baby I Love You" and "Born To Be With You" and went on to his pub rock "supergroup" Rockpile and subsequent solo career (most of which appears in this collection).
