The complete BBC recordings from 1965 - 1968! Chris Farlowe was one of the hottest young British artists from the R&B club scene of the sixties. Among his admirers were Tom Jones and Mick Jagger. Farlowe's band The Thunderbirds featured top-notch musicians, notably guitarist Albert Lee and keyboard virtuoso Dave Greenslade, who always delivered generous solos to match Farlowe's powerful vocals This double CD offers the "live" sound of the band at the historic radio show. The 27 tracks rescued from the BBC archives contain groundbreaking performances such as "Rockin Pneumonia & The Boogie Woogie Flu", "Mr Pitiful", "Think", "Ride On Baby" and "Paint It Black".
