In May 1977 Genesis released Spot the Pigeon, an EP featuring three tracks left off Wind & Wuthering. It peaked at No. 14 on the UK singles chart and was the final Genesis release prior to Steve Hackett's departure. The name of Genesis next studio album, ...And Then There Were Three expressed well the group's dwindling line-up, now made up of just Phil Collins, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford.
Genesis toured worldwide with their new live guitarist Daryl Stuermer. By October 1978 they were in the mid-west of the US, and on 13th of the month they performed a quite dazzling show at Chicago's Uptown Theater. Featuring a number of cuts from the new record, plus many more from their extensive back catalogue, the extraordinary event was recorded for live FM Broadcast across the mid-western states and this superb recording is now available on this on this stunning vinyl!
