Liliental (CD)
Liliental was created during Dieter Moebius' creative break with the Krautrock/electronic band Cluster. Moebius was supported by the two Kraan members Helmut Hattler (electric bass) and Johannes Pappert (alto saxophone) as well as Okko Becker (keyboards, vocals, guitar, percussion) and Asmus Tietchens (Moog, grand piano).
Conny Plank, who has also been involved in the release of various Cluster albums, rounded off the quartet as guitarist, keyboarder and vocalist as well as producer. Originally released on Brain in 1978, the band's only work combines "ambient" synth elements with rock, jazz and "exotic" experiments.
