Grímsey is a second album consisting original music by guitarist Matti Saarinen. The album brings together unique guitar artist and top-class rhythm group. Drummer Joonas Leppänen is also known for his own Alder Ego band and Eero Tikkanen is part of Mopo band. Guitar trio is one the most essential ensembles in jazz. In spite of the traditional setting, Grímsey surprises with a dark sound and bold improvisation.
