Darkened Silhouette (CD)
The Bereaved, like many Swedish bands, do the melodic death thrash thing and do it very well. In fact there are enough of these bands that it can be hard to find a reason to care when another new band travels the same road. The Bereaved made me find more than one because this is some good stuff here. The main thing they do to make me love them is concentrate a little more on the thrash and a little less on the melody, though these guys can certainly shred when the opportunity comes, which it does.
