Works Of Progress (CD)
The guys in Across The Atlantic have created an intriguingly mature and complex work with their new album, Works of Progress. Although at first listen, it might come across as just another run-of-the-mill pop punk album, it's really not. It eventually gets into some fairly heavy music, with at least one track on the album -- 'Blind Eyes' -- being basically metalcore, breakdowns and all. Although much of the album is pop punk oriented, it definitely gets harder from about the midway point onwards. Works of Progress has been compared to A Day To Remember, and that comparison isn't too far off.
