Two years after their critically acclaimed album Exerpts From A Future Past, the Swedish adventure rock quintet Hällas and Conundrum complete their mysterious trilogy. The new work floods the senses, engulfs the mind and draws the listener deep into a psychedelic-sounding adventure-rock labyrinth that is hard to escape Impressive reminiscences of 70s rock in a powerful synthesis with psychedelic sounds merge on Conundrum to a unique sound corset, which is characteristic for the track "Beyond Night And Day" and the whole album. "Tear Of A Traitor" impresses with Tommy Alexandersson's concise vocals, enriched with synthesizer melodies and carefully refined progressive licks. Followed by the rock anthem "Carry On", they form the heart of the album.
