In the fall of 2006 in Turku, Finland, five band members joined their forces to seek and find the most expressive, powerful and vital elements of rock music that flourished in the golden era some 30 to 40 years ago. They made them grow in the light and atmosphere of today. Harvest Bell honour their influences by combining gloomy but rolling Sabbathian guitar riffs to soulful and a little psychedelic melodies and musical structures in the spirit of the Doors. Finally they spice it with a hint of Hawkwindian otherworldliness. In 2010 a local indie label Plastic Passion released their debut EP which was soon sold out. In 2012 band regained their strength with a renewed and refined line-up with which they recorded three songs in Redhouse Studio with Danil Venho. In September 2013 Harvest Bell made a record deal with Italian BloodRock Records and as a result the band released an EP called Wheel of Foretaste in both vinyl and CD formats. The artwork of the EP is made by the great Goatess Doomwych herself. Besides those three songs, there are about 20 songs waiting in the vaults. More than half of them have been played live in concerts by the band, some of them have also been demoed, but most importantly: they've already beginning to take shape as two more or less thematic long play records.
