Blitzkrieg is a band who had a pretty odd history. They were actually a pretty influential band on the coming generation of thrash metal bands - their demos achieved a lot of circulation in the metal underground - but largely due to vocalist Brian Ross's departure to fellow NWOBHMers Satan, they fell off for a few years until he returned, right after Metallica's now-famous cover of the song "Blitzkrieg" put them back into relative prominence.
