LIMITED 250 COPIES BLUE VINYL. It's been 6 years since this young Austrian thrash platoon began their mission to eradicate the mediocre and to take a stand for meaningfulness. Two demos were recorded under the moniker of DAMAGE and in 2010 one of these demos found its way to I HATE, who would become their willing ally. Around the same time the name of the band was changed to the more powerful sounding DEATHSTORM and a year later the mini-LP Storming with Menace surfaced. With 2013 upon us, I HATE are proud to announce the power trio's first full-length, As Death Awakes, an album that's raw and unpolished, yet coherent and mature. DEATHSTORM's song-writing manages to capture the aura of raw death/thrash in the early SADUS/MORBID SAINT/SODOM-tradition but augmenting it with the slightly more mature and technical late 80s deeds of CORONER and KREATOR. This is sadly a forgotten path not many artists choose to follow nowadays...but all this will change with DEATHSTORM! Prepare for the slaughter! Await the edged blades!
