Graham Parker recorded live in Nottingham in 1977 with his favorite group The Rumour, it's the guarantee of spending a moment full of rock and soul, without any concessions. The titles are linked and are very effective: Heat treatment, Don't ask me questions, Soul Shoes or Back to school days. Parker is an excellent singer-songwriter and the concert ends with a cover of Kansas City, it always works. The sound is very good but bad point for the absence of booklet, the small presentation text, chronological from 1975 to 1977 is limited to 14 lines! Parker deserves better than that! Here is an artist with enormous talent, adored by many rock stars (Springsteen for example, but many of them quote him in interviews), but who will only have had limited public success...Yes, the talent even huge does not necessarily give the keys to commercial success, showbyz is sometimes very unfair.
