Reissue of their 1970 album. This is a good set of clean unpretentious rock/blues from a group who deserve more attention than has been so far accorded. Their sound is clear and sharp, with some precise keyboard playing from John Mcginnis and tight guitar parts from Les Harvey, who also wrote some of the songs. Maggie Bell delivered some very hefty vocals, coming on like a white Bessie Smith, and the band sounded exceptional on 'America', which takes up the second side. Reissued with a pasted hardboard gatefold sleeve.
