After the elaborate catalogue travel of Kreator, Running Wild, Grave Digger and Tankard, among others, Noise Records now releases the late work of Swiss thrash metal legend Coroner
Coroner's fifth and final album for Noise was "Grin", first released in 1993, which showed the band's continued forward movement in sonic sophistication, combining a groovier lead sound with industrial elements popular in the mid-nineties. The songs were longer, more complex and the most experimental the band ever wrote
"Grin" is a game-technical marvel, which was risky in 1993 and far ahead of its time, which is why it is nowadays regarded quasi "posthumously" as an innovative genre classic.
