Where Were You Livin' A Year From Now? (CD Used)
Sleeve Near Mint Condition
Media Very Good Plus
Formerly a band called Shallow, who delivered the awesome 16 Sunsets in 24 Hours in 2000, the Last Drop have basically the same sound, giant-sized riff rock with a super-heavy-sounding singer, Tony Inskip, who has a muscular voice along the lines of Henry Rollins or Page Hamilton of Helmet. An English band, the Last Drop are undoubtedly influenced by the '90s heavy rock sound, but also have a bit of a Sabbathy, stoner vibe (their label, The Music Cartel, is one of the major stoner rock labels) and a few songs that recall grunge, like the early Nirvana-sounding "Sheer Dementia." Among the more pulverizing tunes is "Cheese, Wine and Discussion," where the band really flails about, drums, bass, and guitar uniting in one furious pummeling. Where Were You Living a Year From Now? is a tightly wound album -- angry, crunchy, and likely satisfying to a range of fans who might dig anything from Black Flag to Soundgarden.
