MK II (CD)
Repertoires Collector's Editions and Vinyl-Rereleases are produced as true to the original as possible and also include the typical 60's inner cover. The LPs were remastered in half speed at the legendary Abbey Road Studios and then pressed as 180g vinyl. This guarantees the listener the best possible sound. All covers are re-mastered from high quality scans of the original covers with a view to all the subtleties of the artwork of that time
This re-release is something very special for collectors, as the original version is very difficult and overpriced to get. Steamhammer profited from the "British Blues Boom" and were driven to top performances live by guitarist Martin Pugh and singer Kieran White. The CBS signed them for their debut album in 1969 after they made a name for themselves live had. The album is full of dynamic songs like "Junior's Wailing" - a song that became a hit as a single in Germany (and which was also successfully covered by Status Quo).
