Winter Storm (CD)
Ensiferum has been releasing music continuously since 1997 until their eighth album "Thalassic" crowned their rise in 2020. It reached #1 in Finland, #3 in Germany and the top ten in several countries. The Covid pandemic delayed their tours and made the four-year wait for "Winter Storm" the longest in their career.
The new songs were mostly written in lockdown, with a significant contribution from new vocalist Pekka Montin. "Winter Storm" is a concept album based on a fantasy book by bassist Sami Hinkka, combining epic storytelling and musical diversity.
