Harley has a voice that speaks to the people, and such empathy is an important part of his appeal and success as a major singer/songwriter who retains a loyal and enthusiastic international following. This album presents Steve in fine voice on a selection of original songs, together with some intriguing 'cover' versions, including 'What Becomes of the Broken Hearted', Bob Dylan's 'Love Minus Zero - No Limit' and Van Morrison's 'Crazy Love'. Steve Harley talks about his life and the tracks on this excellent album in a new interview with Chris Welch for the extensive CD liner notes.
