With "Decision Day" Sodom 2016 present their new, meanwhile 15th album. It is the sequel to their 2013 "Epitome Of Torture". For four months Thomas "Tom Angelripper" Such (vocals, bass), Bernd "Bernemann" Kost (guitar) and Markus "Makka" Freiwald (drums) wrote and composed together. The result is eleven rock-hard and multi-faceted thrash metal songs. The name gives it away: Thematically, many songs on "Decision Day" take up D-Day, June 6, 1944, which marks the beginning of the Allied landing in Normandy during World War II. Cornelius "Corny" Rambadt, an old acquaintance, was responsible for the production of "Decision Day". He is the sound engineer and drummer on Angelripper's side project Uncle Tom.
