Two years after their critically acclaimed album "Your Wilderness", The Pineaplle Thief 2018 are already in the starting blocks with their successor. "Dissolution" is the name of the meanwhile 13th studio work of the British alternative and progressive rockers. Bruce Soord and Co. recorded nine songs in the different studios of the band members in Great Britain. This also includes drummer Gavin Harrison (King Crimson, Porcupine Tree), who took part in the album process for the first time from the beginning. The intensive songwriting and the recordings of "Dissolution" lasted a good five months. The result is a usual multi-layered, melancholic and atmospheric oeuvre, which reports on the often gloomy consequences of life in a society in which everything happens on a public stage.
