I Can't Make A Friend (1965-68) = Digipak = (CD)
Garage band from Queens that played mafia nightclubs in New York, blew up the stage at the Fillmore when they went on tour (they overpacked their smoke-makers because they thought Bill Graham was a dick), and soon gave the world Leslie West & Mountain. They inspired their fellow Forest Hills High School students the Ramones, copped some hammond licks from the Rascals, got their act stolen by Vanilla Fudge, and made infectious singles that can go from snotty to tender & right back again
