New, remastered and extended 2CD edition of the legendary 1969 debut from original tapes 10 bonus tracks of previously unreleased studio outakes and a BBC session recorded in July 69 The band was founded in 1968 by Glen Sweeney (percussion), Paul Minns (oboe), Richard Coff (violin, viola) and Mel Davis (cello). Third Ear Band were unique in their interpretation of exotic baroque music, which they mixed with experimental rock. The quartet was signed to Blackhill Enterprises in 1969 and opened many of the legendary Hyde Park Free concerts by Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones and Blind Faith.
