Tages was one of the most highly regarded bands in Sweden during this period and with Studio they wanted to reach a bigger audience abroad. Obviously influenced by the psychedelic sound of The Beatles (the comparison between Studio and Sgt. Pepper must've been tiresome, but at the same time inescapable). Also, some songs were recorded at Abbey Road Studios which furthered comparisons with the Beatles.
