Thunderstorm is one of the most respected bands of the Doom Metal scene, a power-trio whom previous four albums had enthusiastic reviews by all the main metal magazines (all of the albums were 10-Dynamite on Rock Hard !) and who has played in a lot of prestigious festivals and gained the devotion of the underground fans. Here comes Nero Enigma, fifth album by Thunderstom. In this new work, once again produced by the band in the New Sin Audio Design studios (Labyrinth, Vision Divine, Domine, Eldritch, Dark Moor..), the style of the band maintains its own Doom Metal identity, but its enriched by a more powerful and varied sound, stronger and louder than before, with hints of classic Heavy Metal, a frontal impact and lyrics linked to the Italian horror/thrillers movies. The following When April Dies explodes in a mix of Doom, Power and classic Heavy Metal, with head-crashing riffs and vicious refrains. Ophrys drives the listener into a spiral epic atmosphere, marching brave to 5o25 , a strange track where you can hear a desperate woman crying. Then theres Shallow, where life in meaningless, and death is needed, delicate and fatal like a spider web. Songs like The Trial of Life, Mechanical Delights and Monologue will bring you into a new dimension of terror and iniquity.
