From Dusk Til Dawn (CD)
This german band from Düsseldorf has released an album in '98, "The Dawn Of Time", and "From Dusk Till Dawn" is made of unreleased '94 demo tapes, carefully reworked and restored in '03 with some overdubs and bonus tracks. The result is an excellent album of symphonic / neo progressive. SHADES OF DAWN was then influenced by ELOY, PINK FLOYD, CAMEL, GENESIS (among others), and also MARILLION for some keyboard solis. It's very melodious nice lyrical guitar solis, well played, with a lot of dynamic and lively instrumental sequences and "airy atmospheres". Waiting for the next album, "Graffity's rainbow", you'll certainly enjoy this nice piece of symphonic prog'!
