Come Out Fighting Ghengis Smith = LP = (LP)
Two things this album did establish were - 1) Roy Harper was one of our greatest songwriters 2) He loved his blow - "You Don't Need Money" is an advert for smoking dope as is most of the rest of this album. It also showed that Roy could quite happily write long pieces "Circle" & "Come Out Fighting Ghengis Smith" (although the latter sort of falls apart!). As for the production - it is very sixties British pop - what else would you expect from Shel Talmy? But I still like it.
