"Primordial Ocean" (2008) showcases four tracks in the 15-20 minutes area, plus one elegant piano interlude. ARNE SCHAEFER's lyrics still combine Science, Philosophy and metaphysical questions. The music stills reveals complex, intricated piano or (Often vintage) keyboards, as well as fine guitar interplays, symphonic arrangements and structures, subtle harmonies. Despite a eight year-hiatus, VERSUS X proves today that talent and ambition are still here, making the band one of the most authentic in today's Progressive rock scene.
