"Against All Odds" is the third album by British heavy metal stalwarts QUARTZ, originally released in 1983. Quartz toured heavily during the 70's and early 80's playing Reading Festival three times (1976, 1977 and 1980) and touring in support of some of the larger hard rock bands of the time (Iron Maiden, Saxon, UFO and Rush). Quartz were an early-on-the-scene band and by the time this album was released they had matured somewhat, producing a solid effort which isn't afraid to tackle new territory. Quartz is a brilliant, yet relatively unknown NWOBHM act that deserves a much wider audience! For fans of BUDGIE, BLACK SABBATH and RAINBOW.
