The Marshall Brothers Band (CD)
Fascinating album from the Australian classical rock combo THE MARSHALL BROTHERS, which appeared on the Sydney-based M7 label in '75. The album were clearly influenced by the likes of RICK WAKEMAN, GENESIS and YES and spent eight weeks in the Australian charts, success which earned the band a serious musical reputation. The eponymous album boasts 8 well-crafted self-penned tracks of superior prog rock, well recorded and beautifully delivered. An album well worth checking out.
