During the fall of '06 LAMONT got anormous attention in press, radio and TV when they released their Ola Salo produced (lead singer of THE ARK) single "Rather do it" without a record deal. They released the song for free download but at the same time offred to buy a fancy cover with a empty CD-R. The single started to play on Swedish national radio. The world wide known file sharing site The Pirate Bay liked this and re-designed their site to a "Lamontfied" version and encouraged missions of visitors to download the video of the song. The result was that LAMONT during one week in November '06 had th emost downloaded video in the world. After a summer in the studio LAMONT now releases their eagerly awaited debut album, "The golden daze", the 1st of November. Ola Salo, together with his ARK companion Jens Andersson has been behind the wheels this time as well, but the most of the producer credit goes to Oskar Humblebo.
