Virtual Outback (CD)
"Virtual Outback" consists of a single track: the elegiac 65-minute piece "The Theme: The Rhodes Elegy". The bonus track "Chinese Ears" is from a commissioned work for China's 2000/2001 "China Millenium".
However, after Klaus delivered, the Chinese government said, "You can't do that." Firstly, Klaus had used the old Chinese Mao song, cut it up and transposed it; that was not possible at all. Second, he had used a folkloric sample from Mongolia. That didn't work either, because the Mongolians are a minority in China
Then it was said, either all minorities in China are taken into account or none.
