Los Angeles based L.A Guns reached the status of one of the most important glam metal bands of the area with former Faster Pussycat members Mick Cripps and Kelly Nickels. Cocked and Loaded is the second album from Tracii Guns' L.A. Guns, originally released in 1989 and the first to reach the gold certification. It's the first album with former W.A.S.P. drummer Steve Riley. The songwriting of Cocked and Loaded includes all five bandmembers. Guest appearances on the album are from Cheap Trick members Robin Zander and Rick Nielsen. The album peaked at number 38 on the Billboard and includes the hit single The Ballad Of Jayne.
