Singer-songwriter legend Van Morrison is back. With "Keep Me Singing", the Irishman is releasing a new studio album in 2016.
With "Duets: Re-Working The Catalogue" the singer had only recently let his musical past pass in review. This is a duet album on which he reinterprets his old songs with stars like Steve Winwood and Mark Knopfler.
With "Keep Me Singing" Van Morrison now looks again into the future, because apart from a cover of the blues classic "Share Your Love With Me" (among others Aretha Franklin, Kenny Rogers) there are exclusively self-composed and written songs on the record. With one exception: For the song "Every Time I See A River" he secured the support of the British lyricist Don Black. Van Morrison also produced the album himself. In addition to eleven vocal tracks, "Caledonia Swing" is a pure instrumental song on the record.
