'Last Day of Summer' is the creation and merging of two pioneering instrumental rock bands from both sides of the Atlantic. The album is both a split and joint collaboration release and is as such the first of its kind.
'Sons of Alpha Centauri' are a dark instrumental riff rock quartet from Swale, Kent, UK. Formed in 2001 'SOAC' reflect on progressive, psychedelic and ambient elements that work to create a hypnotic harmonic pulse to form the body of their vast electronic soundscapes.'Treasure Cat' hail from the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. Morphed from the ashes of instrumental legends 'Karma to Burn', since 2003 an undeniable blend of driving rock hooks and hard sonic riffs has created this all new supercharged rock experience. In 2007 both bands collaborated to write and record a trilogy of new tracks together to form for the first time ever a solely instrumental hard rock super group that has been uniquely delivered by the prestigious hard rock redeemers 'Underdogma Records'. Together with four songs provided by each act the result is a pure instrumental head trip that never lets up and refuses to let go!
